Amrita Rao was born on June 7, 1985 in Mumbai but is originally from Mangalore, Karnataka who speaks fluent Konkani, Hindi and English. She completed a degree in psychology at Sophia College. Amrita got into modeling by an accident when she was selected for the Fair Ever Fairness cream campaign out of 54 girls in Chennai.

Amrita Rao is a hugely popular Indian actress and model. She has acted in various Hindi and Telugu movies. Amrita made her movie debut with Ab Ke Baras which went unnoticed.
