Charlie Sheen makes phone number public with misplaced tweet

Melbourne: Charlie Sheen accidentally tweeted his number to his followers while trying to send a private message to Justin Bieber on twitter.

The former ‘Two and a Half Men’ star, hoping to send a direct message to Bieber to get him to call, tweeted, “310-954-7277 Call me bro. C,” and his followers quickly retweeted the message.

Not surprisingly, Sheen’s number went into a meltdown after that as eager fans started calling him while he was having dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant Guy Savoy in Las Vegas.

“Charlie’s phone immediately went into meltdown. It was ringing wildly, and he got 1,800 text messages in minutes,” the Daily Telegraph quoted a source at the restaurant as saying.

“Charlie saw the funny side and answered the phone a few times, saying things like ‘Ray’s Pizza’ and ‘Winning’” the source said.

“But his phone just continued ringing and buzzing and eventually just completely melted down… Charlie was, like, ‘I guess I need a new phone’” the source added.
