History

In the 16th century, a Pallava king, Bodhidharma (Suriya) sets out on a trip to China. It is equipped with martial arts, the art of healing and indomitable control over the five elements.

After arriving in China, which cures a disease people and because of the belief of the locals, who sacrificed his life and is buried there. Cut to the present, there Aravind (Suriya), a circus performer who comes through Shuba (Shruti), student of genetic research and falls for her. However, Shuba be kind to Aravind for a reason. Meanwhile, a Chinese named Dong Lee (Johnny Tri) comes to India and its mission is to kill Shuba.

Who is Aravind? Why Shuba want to be kind to him? Why is Lee Dong Shuba kill? All this forms the rest of the story.

Performance artists:

Suriya unfolds its charm once more, and it's all about the movie. More than his regular role as Aravind was his brief role as Bodhidharma, which creates a strong impact.

Shruti Haasan for natural beauty and has a magical glow in his eyes. She's a role she became flesh and justice for it. If you add a few extra kilos that will be very attractive.

Johnny Tri was excellent. His intense eyes and his body language was threatening. Without much dialogue, which conveys the essence of a villain in the right way.

Dhanya was fine Pakru Guinness was a bit silly, Avinash was fit, there is little Abhinaya, Ashwin was fine, Raghavendra came and went. The others did not have much to offer.

Highlights:

* The concept of the film
* Performance Suriya
* Technical and production values

Disadvantages:

* Slow
* Weak follow-up of romance
* Driven Sequences
* The lack of intensity and emotional depth
* Music

Final analysis:

Murugadoss has mixed a little real history of modern science in this. For starters, it must be appreciated by coming up with a bold theme and make an attempt to show the great history and great men of our nation. However, there is a fine line between taking a good concept and execution with the correct voltage. If not for the aura Suriya and strong technical values, the film would have been smoother.

This film seems to be the idea of a quality manager run by a director of class B. Generally people expect something more sensible from the Murugudoss. But lacking here.

The first half is good, but the second half was derailed. Murugudoss made vain attempt to control the narrative due to lack of proper investigation. Even the idea of red operation became silly. The climax is very long, with 40 minutes and shows how bad the script is.

You can say that there is brilliance as a director of the plot was predictable and all that was required was to fill the two hours longer. There is no doubt that this is a fairly unique history in recent times, but only if you cut the right way and a certain amount of excitement and dramatic values were added to it, the movie would have been a success.

At the box office, the openings will be good, but the audience is advised to enter the theater with no expectations. In general, this would have no positive impact at the box office. .

Bottom line: the beautiful thought, bad execution
