Sayali Bhagat, was born in Nasik, Maharashtra in a traditional family. Miss India World 2004, is named after a beautiful flower. She is a management student from Mumbai University. She has won a number of prizes in extra-curricular activities like elocution, debate and athletics.
Like the other beauty contest winners, she too entered the modeling industry, followed by Bollywood. The Train: Some Lines Should Never Be Crossed is her first Hindi film, co-staring Emraan Hashmi and Geeta Basra. The movie was released on June 8, 2007.
She proposed to Rahul Dravid on TV. In 2007, she did the same to Irfan Pathan. She is dating the Pakistani cricket team captain Shoaib Malik . Shoaib Malik confirmed friendship with her.
