London: Vanity Fair’s January issue will see Lady Gaga posing as Eliza Doolittle in New York harbour.
The shoot, styled by Gaga’s longtime fashion collaborator Nicola Formichetti, sees the pop queen in Edwardian-style garb; a modern take on the costumes from ‘My Fair Lady’.
English fashion designer Cecil Beaton had designed the costumes for the 1964 film adaptation, and won an Oscar for his efforts, the Telegraph reported.
Formichetti dressed his muse in similarly wide-brimmed hats, and structured, corseted gowns from her favourite labels, Alexander McQueen and Atelier Versace.
