Backstreet Boys’ A J McLean weds longtime girlfriend

London: A J McLean of Backstreet Boys has tied the knot with his girlfriend at a ceremony in Los Angeles.


The wedding was supposed to take place in May but had to be postponed when the singer joined rehab.

He proposed to girlfriend Rochelle Deanna Karidis while he was celebrating his 32nd birthday in a Las Vegas nightclub in January 2010.

They initially planned to marry in May but McLean checked into rehab to seek treatment ‘for personal reasons’, causing the two to delay the wedding.

But the pair exchanged vows on Saturday, in front of stars including singer Joey McIntyre, comedienne Kathy Griffin and McLean’s Backstreet Boys bandmates Kevin Richardson, Howie Dorough and Nick Carter.

“Wedding is tomorrow, Ro and I could barely sleep last night, I think we’re a little excited!” the Daily Express quoted McLean as saying on twitter.
